"photo of ramen" > "street with murals" > "temple" > "shopping district"

For example, I have a bowl of ramen, after that I walked down this street with murals, passed a temple, and ended up in a shopping mall Sometimes the order of the photos taken forms a timeline. Rather than to hunt down the year/month/day folder. I thought it might be good just to tag them, and searching in finder.

It's those lame (but memorable) photos that takes up a lot of space.įor example, photos of my dog yawning, random interesting things like wall murals. Just curious, how did you do with "day to day" photos? Other than special events which will go into a special folder. The 30min a day seems manageable, shall try! Woah, you seem to have far more things to take care of.

Is there a software that easily let me tag photos, and I am able to search in Spotlight?įor example, if i type "tokyo2015", finder will list out the photos I have tagged likewise.įor sorting of the photos, is it wise to copy everything into a fresh 3TB portable, and i do the sorting from there? My current macbook is dangerously low on space. I can be totally in a macOS environment and access the photos there. I'm on a macbook, and i don't quite know how access photos based on tags. Ideally i would like to the photos to be sorted inĪnd a tag to be enabled. I have been delaying this for years, and I gotta get myself going on this. So for 2 photos, they might have same file name. It doesn't help when my Sony cameras have the naming convention of DSCXXXX, and once it reach the end DSC9999, it will cycle back to DSC0001 again.
